Nicole Melillo is an award-winning Director, Writer, Producer, and Photographer. Nicole believes that film and television are not only art forms, but also strong mediums for positive change and connection. In 2020 she founded Mouth of the Wolf Media - a production entity under which to seek out and create projects with this intention. Her most recent film, and the company’s debut production, "The Cab" won the Jury Award Best Short at the Bentonville Film Festival and has been deemed a "must-watch" for its fresh take on mental health and honest depiction of depression. 

 

Nicole serves as a board member for the Artemis Rising Foundation, a creative activist under fiscal sponsorship from Creative Visions Foundation, and as a mentor to emerging filmmakers through Mouth of the Wolf Media and NYU’s mentorship program. A graduate of NYU Tisch School of the Arts, she has since worked on productions for companies such as Martin Scorsese's Sikelia, HBO, Marvel, Netflix, Disney, NBC, CBS, FX and Vogue.
